#6 Fynn Williams – ⭐️ ⭐️ MLB – Serra Padres – 2021

Senior Season (Spring 2021)
April 17, 2021 – Leading 28-3, about a minute into the fourth quarter against rival St. Ignatius Wildcats, Fynn Williams jumped a pass thrown in his vicinity and took it 58-yards to the house. Williams, the Serra Padres’ captain, and leader sealed the game allowing his coach to sub in “the bottom of the fire”, Serra’s hardworking scout players. Despite not having any scholarship offers, Williams was probably the best overall defensive player for the 5-0 Padres and the WCAL this Spring. He dominated in each of his last five games as a senior and more importantly made the players around him better especially the young secondary made up of underclassmen. He finished his senior season with 41 solo tackles, 12 assists, and 9 tackles for loss. The biggest play he made was the pick-6 against St. Ignatius, a team his 2021 class have never beaten until the last game of the year. The Padres beat SI 34-3 to wrap up the perfect season.
Fynn is looking to attend College of San Mateo next season but do not be surprised if he gets picked up sometime before now and then by one lucky program. Watch his highlights, Williams is worth a shot.

April 10, 2021 – Serra Padres football’s Fynn Williams is a game-changer, a defensive monster from the middle linebacker position, and a solid team leader. Fynn, a 2-star rated recruit by 247sports.com started his senior campaign against the Valley Christian Warriors with a crushing hit during Serra’s first defensive series of the game. The Padres’ defense kept the Warriors’ offense at bay for most of the game but VC did manage to come back late in the game but fell short with Williams’ sealing the game with a forced fumble with seconds left. Serra won their season opener 33-26.

Williams would then lead his Padre defense to an undefeated season. His best individual performance came on April 10th against the Riordan Crusaders where he dominated with 10 tackles including six tackles for a loss. He ended his football career at Serra by beating the St. Ignatius Wildcats with a crushing 56-yard, fourth-quarter pick-six.
Williams who recently celebrated his 18th birthday will be attending the College of San Mateo where he hopes to develop his skills and gain quality looks from major D1 programs.
